About this tool
Clean up a text pasted from a PDF, an email or a web page: trim spaces at the start and end of lines, collapse multiple spaces, remove blank or duplicate lines, repair words split by a hyphen, rejoin broken lines, natural alphabetical sorting and quote normalization. Each option can be enabled separately and the result updates live.

Limits to know
- Rejoining lines keeps paragraphs that are separated by a blank line; a text with no blank lines will be rejoined into a single paragraph.
- Sorting uses French natural order (item2 before item10, accents ignored).

A PDF stores positioned lines, not paragraphs. When you copy, each visual line becomes a line break. The "Rejoin broken lines" option rebuilds the paragraphs, and "Repair split words" removes hyphenation dashes.
